                    RIGHTING WRONGS: REPAIRING OUR COMMUNITIES

Can our communities truly thrive? — For everyone? — Everywhere? — What will it take? — What can I do?

One aspect of our PCR over-arching vision is to revitalize communities through the ministry of reconciliation. As the prophet Isaiah envisions: “They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.” (Isaiah 61:4)

How can we participate in this challenging and vital work?

Dr. Curtiss DeYoung, CEO of the Minnesota Council of Churches (MCC) and longtime friend of the Pilgrim Center will lead us in an interactive conversation to explore these urgent questions. The MCC is currently launching a 10-year community focused Reconciliation Initiative in Minnesota to repair foundations that have been devastated for generations.

What can we learn? What steps can we take?

We would love to have you join us for this important conversation!

More information about our guest presenter:

Dr. Curtiss DeYoung is the CEO of the Minnesota Council of Churches. Next Living Reconciliation Evening: Tuesday, March 16, 2021, 7:00 – 8:30p.m. (CDT)

                    Please RSVP to info@pilgrimcenter.org

In increasingly polarized communities, nations, and the world, how can we positively and proactively become reconcilers? Our interactive group study leads us from awareness, to adapting, to action, and to advocacy, as we learn to become ambassadors of reconciliation in our spheres of influence both personally and publicly.

                    Next Course: Virtually — February 18 – March 25, 2021 7:00-8:30pm (CDT)

                    For details, email us: info@pilgrimcenter.org

Reconciliation enables us to experience shalom; union with God, ourselves, our fellow humans, and even with all creation. But how can we experience this reality? Our interactive group study  explores the fundamental concepts of reconciliation that will help lead us to shalom.

                    Next Course: Virtual Way of Reconciliation Course – Thursdays, January 7 – February 11, 2021 – 7:00-8:30pm

                    For details, email us: info@pilgrimcenter.org

Reconciliation is primarily a work of the heart, not the head. The way into the heart is not primarily through information or explanation. The Heart of Reconciliation retreat gives us the opportunity to experience transformation as we encounter our own hearts and the heart of Jesus.

                    Next Event: TBD

For more information, email us: info@pilgrimcenter.org

The healing and reconciling love of God changes how we see ourselves, and each other. It is transformative. Those who attend will encounter this love, experience transformation, and be empowered to bring hope and healing to others.

                    Next Retreat: TBD
